| 6. COMMITTEE REPORTS: A. Trailmaster: Thank you to all who helped on the Trails. Subsection: Trailmaster Report. Donald Roux · * Trails are not open. · * The river ran over the banks and much water is all around the bridge. · * The boat has been stolen. * Most of the reports are due in. Phase 3: Bridge Excavation and Construction - Completion * The railings are being put up. * Don needs help with the wood work. * Projected date of completion – approx: unknown. The bridge will be dedicated in the Winter * 192 feet end to end * 140 feet Tower to Tower * Donations with the map sales * Pictures Subsection: Trailmaster Report. Dave Leck and Donald Roux * Things to Do: From temporary access Don’s promises to land owners on what needs to be done. * Jody has been presented with the Groomer Certificate for completion of groomer. | 5. NEW BUSINESS: A. Thanks to Lou: Jody wanted to thank Lou for all of his work and dedication of processing the paperwork and working with the state. B. Portland Press Herald: Jody asked Steve to field information about the bridge history with the reporter, if needed. C. New MSA Legal: A brief overview of legislation was discussed. D. Ticket Sales: Plaque for recognition for our club doing sales for tickets sold for the MSA has not been delivered yet. E. Libby Property: Donated land to the Sanford Land Trust. |

| 4. OLD BUSINESS: A. By-Laws: We will compile thoughts on one sheet, focus on making the meetings being more functional for all members, and bring them to discuss at a meeting in September. Jody shared some thoughts on changes that may be beneficial to the club. B. Silent Auction: The Silent Auction has ended. We will offer items back to the people that donated. If these individuals do not want the items back, we will process them again next season. We do need to step up fundraisers for next year. Ticket sales may be another option. C. Money for Bottles and Cans: It was discussed that the excess money from the bottle and can donation be given to Christi Wilson for her People To People Adventure to Greece and Italy. Instead of excess money, a motion by Don Allaire to give a one time $100 donation to Christina which was seconded and passed. Lou will mail a check to Christina. “Have a good trip!” |
| 1. President, Jody Adams welcomed us all and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance with 13 members in attendance. The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m. Jody thanked Jim and Cindy for their help in opening up the Clubhouse. Jim Roux was thanked for helping me (Jody) when I needed it. 2. Secretary's Report: Cindy Roux presented the minutes from the February 26th meeting for the membership to read. The March 12th meeting was abandoned due to lack of membership. A motion to accept the February 26th minutes was made by Don Allaire, seconded, and passed. 3. Treasurer's Report: Lou Forni read his report. Lou has been working with the State on the financial picture for the Mousam River Bridge Project. Another reimbursement was received from the State. > > |
