Our History
Established in 1994, the Southern Maine Sno-Goers have been serving the Sanford-Springvale area and the neighboring towns of Alfred and Wells as one of Maine's premier snowmobile clubs. The Sno-Goers prepare and maintain just over 30 miles of snowmobile trails, which are made possible through the generosity of our landowners. Please respect our landowners and the privilege to use their land. Located at the Sanford-Springvale Fish & Game Clubhouse on Rt. 4, the Sno-Goers have over 60 family and single memberships and meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from September to March. You can join our club by filling out our membership application and dropping it in the mail. If you prefer to meet us in person, stop by one of our monthly meetings and say hello.

The Sno-Goers are members of the MSA and in 2003, were voted the #1 club in the State of Maine. We have been one of the top-three selling clubs in the MSA Super Rotary Club Private Project Award for exceptional trail construction and maintenance.
Our club activities include local club rides, potluck dinners, fund-raisers, our annual club trip to Northern Maine and the ever important, Sunday trail work. Volunteers are always needed and welcomed. Check out our upcoming activities and join us when the opportunity arises. Trail maps are available at several locations throughout the area including convenience stores, local snowmobile dealers, and restaurants. Pick one up today or contact us to have one mailed to you and begin enjoying our scenic trails this winter.
